UtahMotorcycleRiders.com is the website for current rides and events in the greater Utah area. If you love to ride, and are looking for people to ride with, then you have come to the right place! Welcome to UtahMotorcycleRiders.com! Our goal is to inform everyone of the picturesque rides in Utah's canyons, valleys, and surrounding areas, while increasing the turnout and overall experience for the riders! 'U.M.R.com' will let you know where and when the rides will take place, how many bikes will be going, how long you should expect to be gone and the gorgeous route we'll be taking. A typical ride consists of a short 1-2 hour loop up with a couple stops. For example..... we'll head up Provo canyon towards Sundance, through the majestic Alpine loop, poping out into the city of Highland, and back through Orem into Provo where we started..

Just imagine..... Saturday morning, it's 80 degrees, the sun has crested over the tips of the mountains for a few hours now and its shaping up to be a beautiful, warm, sunny day.

You're waiting at a red light..... surrounded by 42 distinct rumbles and high pitched screams from the pack of two wheeled monsters around you. Breathing exhaust, the light turns green, some bikes disappear in front of you..... 0-60mph in less than 3 seconds... and some bikes roll through the intersection, not caring if they make it home before dark. Oooohhh, Riding in a group is SO much Fun!! (There are many rules and etiquette when riding in a group. First, always ride staggered!! Second, ride at your own pace! There are many recommendations in the 'Etiquette' section which ought to be read before going on any ride.) The next hour up the sun lit canyon is full of switchbacks, rolling hills and tight 'S' curves; All the while you're grinning from ear to ear!

The bonds you create as you scrape your pegs through the twisties will last a lifetime. Riding a motorcycle is an unparralled experience not easily put into words. Sharing that experience with fellow riders is simply exhilarating.

Beginners and Experts are all welcome and the diversity is actually preferred. If you love to ride, we'd love to have you!!! From Bullet-Bikes to Harleys, and Enduros to Cruisers... if it has two wheels, you're welcome come along. This is not a club, its a brotherhood of sorts.....it's a group of guys (and girls) who love to ride motorcycles. Our rides are relatively short, always local and usually between 1-2 hours. Occasionally, we might take a longer ride to an exotic location. It will be posted on the calendar and everyone will know before hand.

We'll stop at some of the most beautiful, local places in Utah and take pictures along the way. We'll post the pictures in the Gallery under the corresponding date and route we took for everyone to look at after the ride. If you take great pictures, please email them to us and we will include them in our gallery! Last year we had 20-40 bikes each ride and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! . 2007 should be amazing!
